How to connect with New Mexico Arts! Please follow the following guidelines when submitting your work for consideration:
Support local artists and The Magazine by buying limited edition prints from our The Print Series. This is an affordable way to add great work to your collection, and directly supports artists in New Mexico.
Letters to the Editor providing commentary on or raising issues relevant to the NM arts community or responding to The’s content will be published in our print editions. Letters may be edited for length and clarity. Please address letters to Lauren Tresp at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please check out a copy of The Magazine to get a feel for our publication. The publishes features and interviews (1200-2200 words), reviews (300-800 words), along with short form web-only posts (300- 400 words), and more covering contemporary arts and culture in the Southwest. We love promoting the creative work and art being made in our city, and encourage writers to submit ideas they want to share with the New Mexico arts community!
Article pitches must include (1) a short bio and (2) attach or link to 2-3 writing samples totaling no more than 2500 words. While we review every pitch, we do receive a high volume of emails and may not be able to respond. If we feel it is the right fit for The Magazine, we will be in touch. Please address pitches to email@example.com.
